Privacy policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how Support Crew handles information through supportcrew.digital and ordinary business enquiries. It does not replace any separate privacy arrangements agreed for a client project or an application we build or manage.
Information you give us
When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, business details, message and any email attachments. Please only include information needed to explain your enquiry. Do not send passwords, identity documents, health records or other sensitive information through the enquiry form or ordinary email.
How the enquiry form works
The website form prepares a draft in your own email app. Typing into the form does not submit your message to a website form service or database. We receive your enquiry when you send the email. Your email app and email provider handle the draft and its delivery under their own settings and policies.
If you choose “Copy enquiry”, the text is placed on your device’s clipboard. The website does not save enquiry drafts in browser storage.
Website visits, fonts and cookies
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website and provides security services. In doing so, it processes technical request information, which may include your IP address, browser information, requested pages and request times, for delivery, operation and security.
The site loads Inter and Outfit from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to obtain these fonts, which exposes technical information such as your IP address and browser request details to Google.
We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts or tracking cookies to the site’s code. Cloudflare may use cookies or similar mechanisms when needed for security features. This does not mean that visits generate no technical information.
How information is used
We use enquiry information to respond, understand the work you need, prepare quotes, communicate about work you engage us to do, and keep relevant business records. Technical information supports website delivery, troubleshooting and security.
We do not sell enquiry information or add enquirers to a marketing mailing list. Information may be shared where needed to deliver work you request, with relevant service providers, or where required or authorised by law.
Service providers and overseas handling
We use Cloudflare for website hosting and security, Proton Mail for the business inbox, and Google Fonts for typefaces. These providers may process information outside Australia. Cloudflare and Google are based in the United States, and Proton is based in Switzerland; their infrastructure and service operations can involve other countries.
For details about their processing, see Cloudflare’s privacy policy, Proton Mail’s privacy policy and Google Fonts’ FAQs.
Storage and retention
Emails are held in our business mailbox. Relevant information may also be retained in business records when an enquiry leads to work. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, the work, record keeping or applicable legal obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no online service or email transmission is completely secure.
Access, corrections and privacy concerns
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern by emailing supportcrewdigital@protonmail.com. Please describe your request and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant correspondence.
We may need to confirm your identity before providing information. We will consider your request, investigate any concern and respond with the outcome. Some information may need to be retained for business or legal reasons; we will explain this where relevant. If the Australian Privacy Act applies and a concern remains unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the website or its information handling changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
